The student who serves: Service is those activities undertaken by the student which are done with or on behalf of others without any compensation or recognition.
St. Anne students that excel in academic studies, have an interest in leadership and service, and have a thirst for challenge … and accomplishment, have the opportunity to apply to the National Junior Honor Society. To be selected as a member of National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), the student must demonstrate the completion of ten (10) hours of service to others since the start of sixth grade. All service references must include verification by an adult supervisor of said activity.
Service Requirements:
A student demonstrates leadership when he or she:

However, leadership also exists outside of elected positions including leadership roles within the classroom and effective participation in positions of responsibility in other activities such as athletic team captain or committee chairs or the equivalent in students groups.
